Get a daily e-mail report from any table filter

Booster ERP can e-mail you a daily report of any list, filtered exactly the way you want it. You save a filter on a table (for example Products, Sales orders, Work orders…), link it to the “Send daily filtered email report” scheduled job, and every day you receive an e-mail with the matching rows attached as a spreadsheet.

The report is sent to your own e-mail address and contains the columns you have visible on the table. You can do this on any table you have access to — this guide uses Products as the example.

1. Open the table and its filter panel

Open the list you want a report from (here: Products) and click the funnel / filter icon in the toolbar at the top-left. This opens the filter panel: fields on the left, active filters in the middle, saved filters on the right.

2. Apply your filters

On the left, click the small funnel icon next to a field (e.g. Product type), choose the value(s) in the middle panel, then click Apply. Add as many filters as you need.

3. Save the filter

Re-open the filter panel. In the top-right box, type a name (e.g. My products report) and click the + button. Your filter appears in the saved-filters list with a row of action icons.

Saved filter with its action icons

  1. Click the clock icon on your saved filter — “Link to scheduled job”.
  2. In Select scheduled job, choose “Send daily filtered email report”.
  3. Click Link filter.

Done! A badge appears on your filter showing it’s linked. You’ll now get a daily e-mail with the current matching rows as a spreadsheet.

5. Stop or manage a report

Click the same clock icon again. Linked jobs are listed under “Already linked to” — click Unlink to stop that report.

Good to know: the report always reflects your filter’s current criteria; only rows you can see are included; the “System filters” section is admin-only and can be ignored.
